Lambhari Winter Climbing is a foundation course for the beginner outdoor enthusiasts, thoughtfully designed to educate and introduce them with the theoretical and practical knowledge involved in Trekking, Mountaineering and outdoors. An activity involving an extreme adventure requires activity-specific knowledge and experience. This course will be conducted in the Himalayan territory, giving you the first hand experience of the terrain and weather. Trekking and Mountaineering are challenging physically as well as mentally. One has to be strong and determined; participants/trainees require unwavering focus, determination and the ability to overcome failure and harsh conditions.

 

The Journey 

A beautiful trek for the enthusiastic nature lover. This trek offers beautiful mountain views of high altitude Himalayan snow capped ranges. Trek passing through stretched high altitude meadows gives an opportunity for an ideal introduction to trekking through the Himalayas.

Day 01

Arrival at Jibhi, Check in at Wilderness Home Jibhi and a relaxed day with nature walks around the resort and explore the Jibhi Village. Overnight stay at Wilderness Home.

Day 02

We will drive to Jalori Pass and hike up to Raghupur fort, this 6 km walk at the elevation of 3400 meter will help us with the acclimatisation process for the climb to Lambhari.

Day 03

We will be starting  the day after breakfast from Jibhi with a climb through Kuthachi Village through the dense Cedar forest to reach the camp at “Sarthi Thatch”. Overnight at the camp.

Day 04 

We will be starting from the camp very early from the camp to the Summit of Lambhari top. Spend time on the summit and return back by afternoon back to Jibhi.

Day 05 

Relaxed and rest day at Jibhi

Day 06 

Departure back and end of the  tour.

Approximate cost per person for a drop of 8-10 Trekkers- 16,500/ INR per person.

COST INCLUDES

  • Accommodation at Jibhi for two nights on double /twin occupancy.
  • All the local transport from and to the trail head from Jibhi and back to Jibhi.
  • All the Camping gear and three meals during the trek.
  • All the permits and permissions required for the trek.

COST EXCLUDES

  • Any flight tickets and travel beyond Chandigarh.
  • Any travel from Jibhi to Chandigarh and vice versa.
  • Anything which is not mentioned in the inclusions.

To teach the basic techniques of movement on rock, snow and ice.

Theoretical and practical aspects of mountaineering and its allied subjects, like Map reading, Navigation, Weather, Medicines, Mountain Hygiene etc. • To inculcate the right attitude amongst the trainees enabling them to view mountaineering as an art and not just a physical or adventure activity. • To motivate people from all walks of life to higher endeavour.• To provide opportunity to those outdoor enthusiasts who cannot afford the time to complete the basic Mountaineering course. • To the keep the essence alive of mountaineering as a Sport, this course will make the participants capable of venturing in the mountains and wilderness freely and safely own their own. • To make available to the trainees, suitable and relevant literature and reading material on mountaineering. • To teach them how to make themselves comfortable and manage their health in the mountain environment. • To introduce them to conservation of Himalayan environment.• To toughen their bodies by increasing their resistance to cold, hunger and fatigue.

Our Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation, We do not refund any amount back but will keep the amount for the same services which you can avail in next three years from your date of check in. (Subject to room availability)

Important Information

1. Extra beds are priced at Rs. 1500/- per night EPAI and consist of a mattress with full linen set on it.
2. We will request you to provide a valid Identity proof for the registration on arrival.
3. We do not have televisions in the rooms, but we have books that can be borrowed from our library.
4. We will request you not to smoke inside the rooms but guests are free to smoke outside the rooms in their private balconies or in the open garden area.
5. Shouting, screaming and abusing is prohibited. We request you not to play any loud electronic music during your stay with us.
6. Indoor games are available on our premises.
7. Free Wi-Fi is available with a speed ranging from 30-35 Mbps.
8. Driver accommodation available on prior notice charged at Rs. 1200 per day inclusive of stay and meals.
9. Please note that we might not be able to accommodate last minute special dietary requests kindly inform us well in advance if you have any special requests.
11. The menu for the meals is pre-decided keeping your preferences in mind. Since all our meals are freshly prepared, we may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests. Please do let us know your food preferences and allergies before your stay.
12. We do not provide room service. Meals are only served in the dining area or in the garden.
13. Guides for local excursions and activities are provided with additional cost.
